Of the 10 worst spam support ISPs listed by Spamhaus, China has three providers with 143 known spam issues unresolved as at 4 January 2012.
China has chinanet-zj with 60 spam issues (ranked number 1), chinanet-fj with 43 spam isssues (ranked # 7) and chinanet-jx with 40 spam issues (ranked # 9).
The one closest to chinanet-zj is telefonica.com.ar with 59 spam issues.
The networks listed by Spamhaus as “world’s worst ISPs” are known to “provide service to criminal spam gangs and ignore spam reports from anti-spam systems and Internet users.”
US-based verizon.com, which based on the last reports in this website had already cleared majority of its spam issues, is back again in the list as world’s number 6 worst ISP.
Spamhaus has also reported that the United States is the world’s worst spam countries with 2455 spam issues followed by China with 1126 issues and Russian Federation with 628 issues.
Spamhaus is based in Geneva, Switzerland whose “mission is to track the Internet’s spam operations and sources.”
